I just stumbled upon this artist on pinterest. Pretty cool stuff. I love the way he plays with layering and opacity of the background. Plus I have a thing for inky tree drawings.

* Fashion Inspiration: Nadja Seale *
I stumbled upon Nadja on lookbook and was really drawn to her style. She has this great mix of feminine, hippie, and vintage with some more masculine/punk details that balance each other out well and creates a wonderfully romantic and unique look. I'd love to be able to pull off these looks so well.

* Inspired: Egon Schiele *
As an artist, it is hard to have a constant flow of inspiration. I have certain go-to's that will automatically inspire me to get back into my creativity. One happens to be Egon Schiele, my favorite artist. I love how he captures the rawness of humanity in his strokes, and the distortion of his figures allows the viewer to connect to the reality of imperfection. At the same time, you can't help but find his figures beautiful.

* Tattoo Inspiration *
Instead of being productive today like a good girl, I wasted my day listening to music and searching for cool bird tattoos. Here is what I found, and what I hope to add to my shoulder soon!

* Inspired: Invitation Book Design *
I found the video below in a wonderful post on Style Me Pretty. Sara Giessen is a designer/stylist who handmade these unique destination wedding invitations in a bound book.
I included the a few images and the adorable video that went along with it. You can read more on the post here.

* Collar Me Gleeful *
I have become a recent fan of Glee (a little behind the times, I know). There are a lot of things that keep me coming back to the show, primarily being hot for teacher Will Schuester.
However, I was watching season 1 episode 3 and what caught my attention was the intricate collar of Emma's blue sweater. I started paying more attention to her outfits and have fallen in love. She always has this sophisticated and conservative yet quirky style. I can't get over the the different collar treatments she has. My favorite is the owl sweater clip. Why have my eyes not been open to this before? So cute!
Here are some screenshots from different Emma outfits.
