* Happy 4th of July! *

This image has absolutely nothing to do with the fourth of July. I was going through some old photos to find something appropriate for the holiday, and remembered how much I liked this image. This is a sculpture from an art show I saw when I was in Venice last fall.

So, even though it is unrelated to the photo, I wish you all a very festive fourth of July! I can already hear the fireworks being set off by multiple neighbors in Oakland. Huzzah!!

* Christmas Recap *

Hope you all had a great holiday! Our Christmas was fantastic. Lots of food, drink, and merriment all around. Our annual Christmas Eve tradition is making homemade pasta, and Christmas day we celebrate with extended family after opening gifts. (by the way, the hat for my brother was a big hit! My shopping tips worked great!)

* Mini Cards *

My mom recently went on a vacation to Vermont and brought me back these three adorable mini cards. What a cute idea for the holiday!

I think this would make a great DIY for your own little cards. I might have to try one myself!
